Just saw this workshop campaign for 2020 992. WLD3 workshop campaign Replacing engine mounts and retrofitting cover caps, Moisture may penetrate PADM. I called Chantilly Porsche service. Guy found the workshop campaign but otherwise was unaware. The cover cap 992199534A is available. Like the 911 heat shields we install on 3.4 L Boxsters and Caymans if we track our cars to save the coil packs from the extra heat wondering if this moisture cover cap will fit early PADM mounts.

Just 2020 and 2021 992's so far. If we are lucky it will evolve to at least a moisture cap that fits early PADM mounts. As stated in the workshop campaign failures are because of moisture.

Interestingly, in reading the WLD3 workshop campaign for the 2020 992, the replacement mounts are noted to be better sealed units than the originals with the addition of the added moisture covers.
So it appears the supplier is making improvements to the mounts...
"To prevent this from happening, the engine mounts must be replaced with mounts with optimal sealing. Furthermore, cover caps must be retrofitted to the engine mounts to additionally protect the mounts from splash water."

The moisture caps are less than $10.00 each, I wonder how difficult it would be to access the mounts under the vehicle?
