I bought a 2024 TTS, and sold it a few months later to get a GT3. Turbo S is in fact a very comfortable, fast and capable car, but the way the power delivery works, the way the gearbox engages, the way the suspension works, was very very boring It was a car that no matter how fast it would go, it would always make me feel that it has a very low sport character as compared to what I was expecting. I drove later a manual touring GT3 and it was miles better in terms of slow and fast driving..much more engaging, lighter, alive, more predictable, more competent in high speed break and transitions, engine power delivery more engaging and much better sound...I mean....2 different worlds....power and speed is not all...I have a very old BMW 318 IS with 146 hp that is a blast to drive, break, curve etc...

Have not driven either but from tons of YouTube content I believe the GT3 is the more engaging car. But honestly any of these higher HP cars can be tough on public roads because you get to three digits very fast with higher rpm pulls. That’s why I love a tuned base so much for the road. Whine the crap out of the car and it’s 80-90 instead of 115. So much more fun in normal driving which most of us do. As for auto cross you would have more fun in a Miata or GR86/BRZ than a GT3 or GT4. I have a tuned 981 base and only drive on the street, and will never get rid of it. If I was to add a Porsche it would be the 997 GT3 over the GT4. If it’s a track toy well then that might change my thoughts. Both great cars anyway. Best bet is to drive both.
