Default Installing 997 / 987 Spyder LWBs in a 981 Boxster

I'm looking to install a set of 997 Light weight buckets from a 997 into my 981 boxster s.
These are the same seats that were optionally available in the 987 Boxster Spyder.

I'd like to add recline to the seats but only see recline adaptors for the 991 LWBs in my online searches.

Anyone know of any products or any tricks to do this safely?

I want to recline seat approximately 2 cms or essentially raise it 2 cms in the front.

Thanks for your input.

Cantrell Motorsports in Washington has an adjustable seat mount for the 987 sport seat, might fit the 981..

You need to verify that the connectors didn't change between the models. The seats have airbags, and a connector that clips into the vehicle harness. If you can't get them to match you will get the airbag light and more importantly no side airbag.

Physically I have no idea if the two models used the same or different mounting points, but with a little work it's probably doable. I think though if all you are looking for is a good seat for track days, I'd just go the aftermarket route, there are a number of choices.
