Radiator Rock Screen - $3
I mainly used
Use a bent coat hanger to grab & pull the screen close to the fins for a super tight zip.

I'd like to try this on the 987.2 Spyder as seemingly no vendor sells a kit. Additionally, that gutter screen looks damn near identical to the actual mesh on the 981 Spyder!

Is that screen a particular size mesh? Some look courser than others.

I bought the Rennline kit. Material looks identical. It's not that hard to remove the front bumper cover, really, it's not. I've done it 4 times. Save the money and don't buy Rennline but remove the bumper cover to install using screws into the plastic frame around the openings. I have the center 3rd radiator on mine which I installed and was the first time I had the bumper cover off. That's when I installed the Rennline grill screens.
Note: If you track your car, larger pieces of klag off of the tires of the cars in front of you will dent the wire mesh pretty badly. It can be straightened out using a hook like the OP used. But the paint or powder coating Rennline uses isn't that durable and it chips fairly easily.
