Default A/C drain line for 981?

Anyone have a picture of where the A/C drain line is when it exits the bottom of the car?

Hi OSUIDOC,
Were you ever able to find out where the A/C drain line exits the bottom of the car?

I just realized today after recharging my A/C system that I don't see any water dripping or collecting anywhere underneath my car, even after it's been blowing cold on Max A/C for several minutes.

Does anyone know where the A/C water condensation should be dripping? Could someone please have a look next time?

Interesting...I'm in the South...My AC runs all the time and works great, but I have never noticed condensation dripping from my 981.

Looking at the workshop manual it shows the cayman having a desiccator. so perhaps thats why youre not seeing the dripping?

Come to think about it.

Our Cayenne Diesel drips AC water by the buckets.

But, our 981 Cayman S is always dry as a bone underneath.

Thanks for the above info.

The condensate drains onto the underbody pan and drips away when you are moving. I asked my AC technician this exact question last year, this was his answer.

The "desiccator" is the receiver/drier for the refrigerant gas.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I was getting nervous that maybe the condensation drain hole was plugged somehow, but this makes sense.
