I just acquired a 2014 Cayman S with the Porsche Sport Exhaust, but wonder if it's working as I don't detect any difference with it on or off ... for those that have it, how noticeable is the difference? I'm asking about sound, as I've read on the forum that there is no difference as to performance.

You can get under the car and check that the valves are open when you press the Sport Exhuast Button.

There are some you-tube videos that show you how.

The difference in sound is quite obvious especially when the Sport/Sport+ button is on. However, you have to rev the engine to hear the difference. At idle, the difference is marginal and may not be detectable.
