Default 2014 OEM Tires?

Just purchased a 2014 Boxster S, and am curious how to know what factory tires were applied at that time? I ask because I paid for the tire/wheel warranty, and if I have to use the service I wonder what brand the dealer will replace. Right now the car have 20" NITTO NTSSS G2 all around.
Sincerely appreciate any information.

Your car most likely had Pirelli PZeros fitted, which weren't great. Any N spec tire is something Porsche would recommend, and without the N specification they would not. No Nitto has ever been approved by Porsche and given an N specification. Probably the best street tire you can mount is a Michelin PS4S. You can get those in N specification as well. My guess is you didn't get the wheel and tire warranty from Porsche??

I purchased a CPO model.
Including their tire/wheel warranty (same for my GT4), and the mechanical extended warranty to 2025.
Tire Rack lists the OEM as:
GOODYEAR
EAGLE F1 ASYMMETRIC 2

I have a major concern that my "CPO" model is not within Porsche specs due to the NITTO's on all four corners. I suspect my dealer will address accordingly, but how do they miss something as terribly important as that?!

Some dealers are much less strict about CPO. What you see as "terribly important" may be seen by them as no big deal.. I bought a CPO car before that had aftermarket wheels and exhaust on it.

Dealer replaced all four corners with Michelin PS4S including a four-wheel alignment.
I cannot express how amazingly different the vehicle feels, and performs with these tires.
Could not be happier!

On a 2015 Boxster GTS (mine), OEM tires were Goodyear Eagle F1. They were pretty good, and far superior to Pirelli P0 I had on another vehicle. Got a little over 20K miles on them, which I thought was pretty good treadwear for a performance tire. If it came down to the Eagle vs. P0, would go for Eagle.

Switched to Michelin PS4S after that and am very pleased so far (about 8K miles on them).

BTW, all performance tires I've had have been "N-spec" (i.e. Porsche approved). On my Cayenne, I use 19" Blizzaks for winter tire, which are not N-spec. I haven't had any issues with the Blizzaks but, with the winter shoes on, it's not like I'm driving the Cayenne at the limits of performance.

Excellent outcome. There's no way Porsche should have CPO'd a car without N spec tires. N spec means everything to Porsche. Anyway, my '12 Cayman R had Goodyear Eagle F1s. They were ok. I actually liked them better than Michelin PS2s as they age. I didn't think Porsche was still fitting Goodyears in '14, but probably weren't out of them yet.

My 2014 CS CPO with 15k miles is still on the original Eagle F1s
