I have an odd squeekish like noise that I can't seem to locate. I was thinking it was internal to the cabin and on the passenger's side, but I'm now wondering if it might be the gas tank rattle/squeek. - 2014 Cayman
The gas tank squeak tends to occur only, or more when the tank is completely full versus almost empty, so that might be an additional clue for you?
Thanks, I tend to not get below 1/2 tank but will let it get a bit lower and see if I still hear it. I plan to let my 30 yo drive at least part of the way to the VMI/Citadel game in Lexington, VA tomorrow so I'll be in the co-pilot seat and can try to isolate it...

The passenger seat-belt can develop a very deceiving rattle. From the drivers seat it can sound like it's coming from somewhere in the passenger dash / glove box / foot-well area.
Just re-seat the straps make sure it contracts cleanly and no more rattle.

My squeak was coming from the rear strut mount. It sounded like a little mouse or bird when going over bumps.
It's not just you. 20" wheels and a fixed sport suspension will do that to you.
My two worst were my door and the gas tank pad squeak. I fixed the door with three strips of weatherstripping. I'm probably just going to have to live with the gas tank pad squeak even though it is known and there is a TSB for it. No dealerships in my state.
Here is a video showing how to remove the door if you are interested in installing the weatherstripping.

I have a rattle near the seat belts by your head. Placed some there and it seemed to work, but I heard it again. Need to get in there and put more foam in there.

I have the exact same rattle. If you fix it can you post some pics on how you did it?
the rear cage has always had a “ding” sound on rough roads. Like one is using a screw driver to hit a metal pipe. Then my driver’s side door has a small clicking sound too after I changed the factory black door straps to red ones. Never really got around to fixing that. It’s probably something silly I messed up when I removed the interior door panel before …
I had a rattle coming from what I thought was the plastic around the storage compartments or the hatch plastic. I must have taken that stuff apart and added foam tape 5 times and still had the rattle. Turns out the hatch was slightly loose. I turned the rubber adjusters out a little and the rattle went away.
