PCM 3.1 does not mean software version. I mean that you need PCM 3.1 not CDR 3.1 or not new PCM 4. (If you asking about version, i think it should not matter as long as you have PCM 3.1 with navigation)
Yeah i have read. Thanks
p.s regarding front camera, it is used for signs recognition only that why it is on the back of rear mirror.

This is a good read, and might shed some light as to whether an additional module "may" be needed or not........

That is correct. I own such a '13 Boxster, w/ Nav, PCM 3.1, but software in the 3.y range. One way to notice this, I do not have the jukebox music feature...

Please take and post photos as you go of the process needed to remove each trim panel. If I ever embark on this journey I'd like to remove as few pieces as possible and break the minimal number of panels and clips.

I thought I would chime in. I installed the MaxSpeed camera last month. I love it. It makes driving in reverse 10x better.
For me, the hardest part was finding someone to do the PCM coding. If you are in Northern VA, the guy at Autobahn in Fairfax can do the coding for you. Although I see that max speed is now offering a loaner tool to do the coding for you.
The installation of the camera was not that difficult. It wasn't even that time consuming.
The instructions could have been a little clearer regarding removal of some of the trim pieces though.

What model car did you install in?
Any details regarding the removal of the trim pieces you could offer to assist the next guy?

On my 2013 I had PCM no cameras. Had front and rear installed by local company and they used:
NTV KIT734 RGB PCM 3.1 Dynamic Kit
NTV KIT299 Nav-TV Camera Kit
PAC TR7 PAC Universal Trigger Output Module
Brandmotion Curb Alert PRO 5000-CA6
Had it for a year now and it works fine. $1300.00

My bet is there is a module required that he didn't source. Most kits I've seen require a little black box in between the camera and the PCM and this poster only had the camera and harness (and a few brackets) in his bag of tricks. Still hopeful, though, because this would really be a nice add if it works.
