Hey guys, I'm currently looking at a 14' Cayman S. The S I found has sport, sport+, pasm, pse. I did some searching around the Web to try and find out if the PSE has the same exhaust sound on the S, as it does on the GTS? I've driven a GTS and love the sound!! But was considering a similar equipped S for less cost. If the PSE is exactly the same between them I would definitely consider this car... Unfortunately the car is 3hrs away from me to test drive, so I was hoping that some of you that might have experience with these 2 models could give me some insight on them before making the trip out to see it.. Thanks

 

In my experience the physical exhaust is the exact same between the S and the GTS. As for the sound between the two I'd expect very similar sounds from them. The 981 S with PSE will sound great, it is a really well designed muffler.
