Default Cup 1 differences? Center caps

Nathan J. was asking about my center caps in the Gmund thread. Figured I would start a new thread because this is kind of odd. Maybe you guys know about it?
When I put my current center caps in my refurbed cup 1's one of them stuck out. Ie. it wasn't flush with the center of the wheel. Then I realized that the center bore is different on my two 7.5's. One is 6 mm deep and the other is 4mm deep. They are both genuine and both made in 91 but they are different. I guess I'm going to have to have a machine shop shave one of my center caps down to fit correctly.
If you buy mixed sets of cup 1's you may want to look out for this.

I get 6.3ish but the wheels have been refinished at some point. I would be curious and compare offsets.

Yea the one that was 6 mm has some paint in that area so it may be more like 6.2-6.3 If the paint was removed.
If they are both et65 then the offsets should be the same right?
