it froze in place mid-stroke. if I jiggled the arm you could feel it wanted to move but was blocked. took it apart, drilling out the rivets. dropped the motor and the gears spin freely, no blockage. does that mean the motor is fried?

does anyone service these? is it worth even messing with it or just spend $100 and buy a used one off eBay?

considering doing the delete, too, but I like my wiper.
