Default brake pad vibration damper ?

question for you track oriented guys - do you use the " brake pad vibration damper " ? - http://www.paragon-products.com/Brak...351.096.02.htm - and are they all the same size on the 968 ? Though I usually get a DE season out of my pads, these would seem to impede a quick pad change during an event...

I don't use them, I would agree, how much room are you going to need to get them out, unless they no longer stick to the pad after the heat. What pads are you using? If you are using racing pads and you try and use them on the street they are going to squeal no matter what you do, its the compound not the pad vibrating.

thanks for the reply, I have had a few seasons with Pagid Orange pads, they are great but hard on the rotors, and I'll be installing Hawk Blues here shortly...

Nope, don't use them. I do however use the titanium heat shields in place of them. Supposedly slows the transfer of heat but I have no data to support this. Running Motul fluid and PFC 08 and have never had a brake fade issue.
