Default rear hatch defrost wiring

I am changing hatches on my street 968 and am wondering if there is a connector for the defrost wiring or do i just need to cut the wiring?

What you see is a connector: the black rectangular plastic parts at the end of the wires house regular female spade terminals which push onto the male end that's on each shock. One on both sides.

There's also a connector for the hatch itself. Pull the rubber grommet out of the body of the car and pull the harness towards you. There will be a round connector that you can pull through the hole. Disconnect it and you're set to remove the hatch.
