'94 Cabriolet 3.0L firing order/timing question
I have a question regarding firing order.
Below is a photo of the cap and wires as removed.... but, I think cylinders 2 and 3 are swapped.
I did a search and someone had swapped them accidentally and the car wasn't running right. But, customer didn't make any complaints about rough running and whatnot. I drove it in and as this is my first 968... didn't really think it was running rough.
Anyhow, has anyone had any experience with this? Should I replace as removed? Or correctly: 1-3-4-2?
Thanks for any input.

ernie9468: Funny thing... I put it correctly as 1-3-4-2 and it wouldn't start. I changed to 1-2-4-3 and started up.
Strange, no? I'm going to warm it up and switch it back to 1-3-4-2 and see what happens... unless someone here tells me not to, that is.

That's because what's listed there is the FIRING ORDER. Not how they are on the distributor. Look closely at the sticker, and you'll see from top to bottom the order is 4-2-1-3.
Edit:Yeah, this caught me too...
