Hi,

Can someone with a 968 shoot me some pictures of their door seals?

I'm particularly interested in close-ups of the section alongside the B-pillar and the upper "corner".

I see that your car is a '93. Given that it's got the earlier style door seals I suppose the other seals (featuring the additional "lip") were fitted to later cars only?

Well, this is precisely what I'm looking for.
On all ROW 968 coupés I have seen door seals were different from 944 door seals, and the pictures Ernie posted show the same door seals as on 944s.

Thom, the body side seems more or less the same, but the seal that's on the door is different. I'm afraid I don't have a picture to show this with, but if Ernie can shoot one of the top rear corner of his door seal, you'll see what I mean. They have a distinct shape.

Ernie (and others), do the seals on 968 doors feature, on the vertical side near the upper corner, some sort of heavy duty black "cloth" tape?

All 944s seem to have those, but 968s may not?

No the 968 don't have (cloth tape) the only thing which is not rubber around the doors seals is this piece (see pic) which is Vynil or plastic of some kind.
