Module Under Seats

Does anyone know what the electrical module under the passenger seat is? The one I have is disconnected, and it sort of resembles an amp, but I do not think it is...Btw the seats are 4-way power.

You are correct. It's the amp for the hi fi. There also should be one under the drivers side.

Maybe it's disconnected because it's not compatible with the Nakamichi stereo that came with car. Do you think I should reconnect or leave as is. Thanks.
