Default Horn locations?

Before I start crawling around, anyone know where the horns are? Easy removal?

Cheers, Mike

Under the front bumper cover. You may be able to get enough access to check connections from underneath, but if you want to remove and replace the horns, I think you'll need to take the cover off.

I replaced both of mine recently, and in less than a year, one of them stopped working. Whether due to a loose connection or a failed horn, I don't know. All I do know is that no, the front bumper cover is not easy removal. It's a bitch, and unnecessarily so. Really unnecessarily.

It helps to put the front end up on jackstands.

So you literally have to remove the front bumper cover to get to the horns? There's no other way? I could have sworn the horns were very accessible, but I might be thinking of my 944.

The cover is hard to take off, but even harder to put back on!

I was afraid of all this.... but had hopes there was a trick somewhere. If I find one i'll post. On mine one stopped a while bcak then the second went. Alot of stuff to unbolt to get the cover off and on.

Yes.

As far as I've been able to determine, all of the other ways involve cutting.
