Wasn't there just mention here of someone who painted a white 968 dark metallic grey, turbocharged it and is trying to flip it?

It's not my car! I have a black 944 turbo! It's not the car of the one who was driving it either!

I always get a kick out of the difference between 944/68 owners and 928 guys. The 944/68 guys scold each other for burning out and the 928 guys cheer on and say go again. I know I am just generalizing but that seems to be the trend. I am not saying one is right or wrong, just stating my observation on rennlist.

ive noticed that too. coming from the 951 world its the same. up the boost! oops there goes the motor! throw in another one or get a V8!

the 968 crowd seem to be even more **** about proper behavior and oem parts than some longhood 911 owners i know!

that being said I would only use oem parts. and my behavior is more dictated by a desire to not replace things that aren't broken yet...

Probably has more to do with 150,000 944's produced versus 12,776 968's.

True that, the 968 was a short lived venture, as was the 968 turbo, sadly with only 15 models made...
