Default Colgan bra installed

Here is a pic of my new bra. It actually looks better than I expected. I really like it without the hood piece installed.

Looks good! I might grab one of those before long so I can cover up chips instead of protect! Lol

Here is another pic. I know its hard to see but the headlight was stuck up in the first picture from the bra. I guess I was not quite awake yet when I took that pic, but it seems like that would be a hard thing to not notice. LOL. As far as covering up chips that was my plan exactly.

you know it makes it look a lot more like a 928... it takes away the little curves below the headlights that the 968 has and straightens the hood line out just like a 928... interesting.

Obviously that was what you were going for given your other ride

mind if i ask where you picked it up? i think i saw those on pelican or paragon?

It was Pelican. I believe the price was $217 shipped but am not positive on the price. It took about 6 weeks to get because it sounds like Colgan only makes one when they get an order. I am very happy with the qaulity. Now that you mention the 928 I see what you mean. In person not so much. What really surpised me about the 968 is how the 911 similarites come out that pictures do not seem to show. Especially when you are looking down on the car from the side.

I stopped for gas tonight and a guy commented about the 968. We both talked about how rare Porsche sightings are in this town. Turns out he rescently purchased a 2009 997 TT which really surprised me. I guess he has liked Porsche's his entire life so he finally got one. We also figured out that we played golf together about 10 years ago. I am glad I ran into him and hope to get a ride at some point.

I bought a bra from Pelican (but I got the Porsche one, not the colgan), and I remember paying somewhere around $125. This was 2 years ago, IIRC.

Make sure you don't leave the bra on for long periods, especially in the rain. During the wet months (if you drive the car) I'd leave the bra off, because the trapped moisture will kill the paint. My dad bought a 964 once with a bra on it... we took off the bra and found rust and bubbling paint like leprosy exactly everywhere under the bra.
