Default Birthday Present

I just got a nice set of Fikse FM10's for the 968. I am amazed at how a set of 17's and summer tires transformed the handling over the stock 16" cup wheels and Continental all season tires. It made a huge difference. I think the FM10's are the best looking wheels for the 968, just my opinion. The Fikse wheels are 17 x 8 in front and 17 x 10 in the rear. Tires are Yokohama S.Drive, which would not have been my first choice, but since they were mounted and new from the previous owner of the wheels, they will stick around for a while. Too bad the fronts are 205's. A 225 would probably make a huge difference, especially during braking. I am amazed at how an upgraded set of wheels really upgrades the appearance of the car. So, happy birthday to me and my rolling mid life crisis.

Anybody tackle the ride height adjustment on the rear? The Porsche sport springs up front have it riding a bit high in the back. Is the ride height adjust a big deal?

Best,

Steve
