Default Antenna

The plastic around the antenna on my 94 black 968 just disintegrated. I have wrapped in with electrical tape but it doesn't look to sporty. Anyone know where I could purchase a new one?

Start looking at Toyota antennas. I do not have a year or model for you but I did buy one on Ebay that looked exactly like a 968 one and it threaded on.

I recently got a new one in December. I'll look up the part number and let you know. I believe it is a 928 part number.

Search eBay for any Fuba style replacement. I got a 16" VW factory mast for $15 and it is better constructed than the original that was on my car. I recently replaced it with a $9 3" aluminum stubby mast.

I just went through the antenna fiasco. The only places to get the authentic fuba betaflex-d base are the Porsche and VW dealers, and believe it or not the Porsche dealer is way cheaper.

But it sounds like you're only talking about the mast. You can get the mast anywhere, but there are dozens of mast designs. If you want the OE-looking mast you should make sure that's what you're getting.

Heat shrink tubing over the spring section up to the point where it screws on the mounting.

If all you need is a replacement of the antenna mast I just ordered this from ECS Tuning and it fit perfectly.
