Default Clutch problems

Well the car came out from its winter break today, its had big blacks, new wheel bearings all round and a Spax coilover suspension kit.

So put my foot on the clutch and I have about an inch of travel, the car is just about driveable. I havent lost any clutch fluid but I thought I'd try the master cylinder - still the same.

Is it likely to be the slave cylinder or something more sinister?

What do you think?

Thanks

Rich

Likely a bit of air in the line from when you changed the brakes. Try bleeding the clutch, I have the best luck when the rear of the car is elevated a bit more than the front.

Good thinking but the car is a RHD and has seperate clutch cylinder.

Could be the slave but more than likely it just needs to be bled. If you pump the clutch pedal does it improve at all?
