Default Who has test fitted COP's on the 968 head?

As topic. I will be looking into a coil on plug setup to save some space but instead of buying 5 different types of COP's to try out I though I'd give it a shot to see if anyone here has done any testing?

There's some stuff on the valve cover casting that probably won't allow for a typical VAG 115 type COP with it's bulky head. A smaller headed COP is probably needed.

The AEM pencil COP (CBR COP originally) looks good fitment wise but they are CDI type which requires a CDI box. I'd like to use a COP with in-built igniter.

Any good ideas before I start shopping around for testing purposes?

IIRR Cayenne V8 COP fits 928 and 16V 944 valve covers quite well.

Better control over timing, higher voltage, theoretically more reliable (although in practice, maybe not).

Smoother running vehicle. Less wasted spark. Also more controlability and easier missfire diagnostics.
