I have a friend who is not on this board yet. Just bought his wife a 95 968, 25k, cab & tip.
Can someone tell me how the + & - work on the transmission through the gears,,how does the computer recognize speed vs rpm? If your over in manual mode, how many shifts will it make, do you have to come back over to "D" at any time? Normal driving vs sport options(FUN!) I know the computer will save you at redline or just before; we discovered this when a tip was trying to stay in manual mode on the dyno at our club dyno day, but how do you have the most fun with the manual side and what to do when your going up and down with regards to speed,,she is liable to do triple digits at time on the way home...she likes speed, the mph kind.
Sorry for the neophite questions but I have never driven one and the wife is going fly in and drive it home after PPI. So I am trying to give her some pointers before she hits the road home, from Florida to Arkansas.
