Tire Pressure for 17 wheels
I understand that 17" wheels with 255/205s were an option for the 968. I just put this setup on my 951, for which Porsche apparently never offered 17" wheels, and need to know the reccomended air pressure for the street. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks.

The recommended front tire size is 225/45-17, although I did run the skinny 205s until they wore out...
The factory recommended pressure is 36 psi front and rear. You will probably find this is too high and dropping it to 32-33 will probably work better on the street.
When you install 17" wheels and tires the factory technical service bulletin that covers the installation says you must upgrade the A-arm caster blocks to the newer 968 design. There are part numbers and pictures in the Suspension section of my website.
