Replace 968 steering wheel with 911 tiptronic wheel.
Hi,
Some time ago I remember someone saying that the '95 968 tiptronic came with the shift switches on the (airbag) steering wheel (same as the 911). Having spent an hour last night going over the 95 968 tiptronic wiring diagram vs the 92 model (my car) I can't see any difference.
Has anyone tried this (using perhaps a 911 wheel of similar vintage). The switch schematic is straightforward and certainly looks like switches connected in parallel to the original wiring would function (but only when the shifter is in "M", which is fine).
Any comments?
