Question 968 Supercharger?

I'm aware of the PowerHaus turbo conversion for these cars. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a supercharger conversion?

Huntley racing is developing one. I e-mailed them and they said they have a functioning prototype, but that it probably won't be released for a year. I think the price of the kit is going to be $6k, the price for the Power Haus turbo conversion is $20k!

Huntley Racing says another year from now? Gee, it's already about a year late as it is. When Tony Garcia started development on this project last year he said they'd have kits out by August 2000. With 20/20 hindsight that was obviously an unrealistic timeframe. I'm anxious to see how it all works. Personally, I'm not sure I'd put one on my car without changing the connecting rods and upgrading the clutch.

Garrity says that the 968 con rods are good for 350Hp. And I trust Garrity.

As for the clutch, I don't know. But it is easy to change (on a 968).

I posted something under the general 924/944/951/968 board about a supercharger for the S2 that will probably also work on the 968, here is a link to that thread. Hope it helps.
