Default WTF did I do? Tune-up gone awry

Hello helpful, much more knowledgeable people.

I can say that I am a fairly effective amateur mechanic, but....

I can't seem to perform a simple tune up. I purchased from vertex and installed a new set of plugs, WR7DC+, new dist. cap and rotor. I was distracted speaking to the wife while attaching the plug wires to the cap. Car is running on #1 and #4 only using my special "temperature-calibrated-skin" on the headers. Can someone tell me which way I have screwed this up?? Cylinder number of plug wire, top to bottom, attaching to cap would be helpful. I am confused as to why they have sent me the different plugs (single ground strap) and different part #.

Also the dist cap came with shorter screws, which forced me to re-use the old screws and spacers.

Whaaa?

Thanks,

Come on Mac - this one's even simpler than finding the plug gap on the emmisions sticker. Take the plug wire cover back off, trace back the #2 and 3 wires to the distributor cap and swap them. Hopefully the bride was at least bringing you another beer when she distracted you.

The cap is also used on Volvos so there might be some screw differences.
