Default Any mechanical difference between '93 and '95 968 Coupe?

Does anyone know if there were any changes made for the '95 968 Coupe from the previous years?

I'm curious if there are significant changes between the two years (93 and 95)?

Was there any changes to the performance of the car (suspension, brakes etc)?

Nope, should be identical. The 92's have a different LSD than later cars, and very early cars have different rods, but that's about it.

Do not forget the glove holder cover and trim over the radiator. I am not sure why Porsche stopped putting those on.

There are Porsche technical documents for each year; looseleaf booklets which update the service manual and describe in detail the changes made from the preceding year. You might want to research these and look for the 94 and 95 volumes.

stronger, beefier rods, were introduced at some point in 1993... not sure if any of the newer rods made it into the '93 cars but i believe they didn't... were there fewer pinion bearing failures in the latter cars ? different wheels, seats...

there was also a lesser known "sport" (a tweak of the clubsport) offered in the UK only.

here's a lesser known writeup of the 968 than the regular wiki entry:

and the more commonly-known:

...2R rods came when around 1/3 of '94 MY ROW production were done. As large parts of US models have M718 option meaning they were done earlier than what VIN would suggest only last US models have stronger rods.

I always forget but weren't 92 pistons cast instead of forged?

Earlier 968s came with old fashioned caster blocks (like the 951), while later ones got a redesigned caster block. The caster block is aka the control arm rear bushing. It's a small suspension difference but it counts.

In the end, I think it's best to just pick up the nicest example you can afford/find.
