i had these up for sale last fall but, i ended up going to florida for the winter before i was able to ship them to the people that were interested in buying them...
i have a set of 968 front brake rotors and calipers. rotors are at spec.
measure no less than 26.9mm on the micrometer... very little wear *(new rotors are 28mm wide).
the previous owner paid about 270 dollars for them from Pelican a few months before being laid up in the hospital and unable to drive any longer. when i got this 968 3 years ago, the first thing i did was put on 928 GTS brakes...
these are 298 mm outer diameter; 15.49 mm bolt size;
basically the same size as the 944 turbo, 944S2 brakes, if i'm not mistaken...
from www.944s2.com
"...The standard front brakes on the 944 S2 are taken directly from the '87 and on standard 944 Turbo. The pistons used in these 4-piston Brembo calipers are 36 and 40 mm in diameter (two each). The brake pad width is 98 mm, the same as that of the famous original 911 Turbo (model 930). The front rotors used with these standard calipers have a diameter of 298 mm (11.73 in) and a thickness of 28 mm (1.10 in)."
on the pelican site: "double disc ground finish that ensures parallelism, eliminates run out, and provides near perfect disc thickness variation; Fully machined surfaces provide smoother, quieter stops, and longer brake pad life; OE specification center-split core castings offer proper heat transfer and thermal efficiency for improved braking power and safety; With superior black E-coating on all non-friction surface to provide long lasting corrosion protection; Meets or exceeds OEM standards..."
too bad, i can't use these rotors in the back...
offering them for 100 dollars [includes shipping] and i also have the calipers available for 100 dollars for the pair [includes shipping]... can't go wrong with these either as they are perfect...
or both the calipers and the rotors shipped for $160.
i'll try to get some photos up later.

Hold on...maybe I've gotten myself confused about something...but I thought the specs allow for 2mm of wear...which means that 26.9mm is 1.1mm of wear...and therefore they're 45% new, not 90%?

is that really so ? i guess i best not sell them then...... thanks for informing me.
then, the calipers are still available and i will simply throw in the rotors if someone pays the shipping.
