EDIT: Does anybody know this guy by his e-mail address, "d993s@aol.com"? He's claiming to be parting out three 968s at once (unusual to have three at once, but plausible), is doing it on Craigslist instead of Rennlist (odd choice, but hey not everybody knows about Rennlist), and then says "I no longer accept Paypal; has to be US Postal money order or cash deposit into our B of A business checking account." I'm not saying I know this is a scam, but it smells like one.

 

I am in Atlanta next week and will contact him and see if i can check the cars out. I will post what I find.

 

I have met him and bought parts from him. PM me if you like.

That email rings a bell, IIRC there were some issues a few years back about a number of cars being parted.

 

if it's d993 I've had issues, I wouldn't recommend doing any business with him.

Long story short had to get the police involved and take a hit on a part that wasn't what it was put forth to be.
