I know that there was a writeup somewhere, but I cannot find it. Can anyone point me to the tread or DIY writeup?

Those are great pics of the locking levers that hold the plugs (3) in. Make sure you have those unlocked. Also, you don't need to pull the wheel to get thje cluster out. It takes a bit of manuevering and and twisting forward and a push up on the dash to clear the cluster, but it will come out on the right side. I've had mine out 3-4 times.
