Default Looking for info on M030 rear shocks

These are adjustable for rebound, same as other koni sport yellow's? Need to remove the spring and compress to adjust?

Anyone know the spring rate on the barrel helper spring?

Looks fairly weak, so I am guessing the torsion bars do not need to be reindexed for ride height. Do the actual factory M030 cars have the same t-bar indexing compared to 944TS cars (that have the same 25.5mm t-bars, but not the helper spring)?

Yes the m030 rear Koni's a rebound adjustable with 1-1/4 total turns of rebound adjustment and the spring must be removed to do this. Rear coil springs are somewhere around 100-125# rate from what I've seen but I don't now if anyone has verified the exact rate, thus I'm not sure how much the rear ride height increases with the helper springs installed.

I was thinking they were in the 50-80 lb/in range, but I found some other info that also indicated they were approx 120 lb/in.

At 100 to 125 lb/in, that would raise the ride height between 3/4" and nearly a full inch on a car w/ 25.5mm t-bars. Thats significant, and a little more than you can drop the rear with the eccentrics. T-bars should be re-indexed.

Thanks.

I can verify the 120 lb. rate. I had a brand new spring measured by The Racer's Group. Can't help with the other questions.

Just to follow up with this:

Adding the 968 M030 shocks to a 944 with stock 23.5mm torsion bars, raised the car 1".

Reindexed the torsion bars approx 4 degs to return the car to previous ride height, which was 5 clicks/splines (9 deg per spline) up on the inboard end, and 5 clicks/splines (8.2 deg per spline) back on the outboard end of the t-bars.
