It's time to start thinking about getting the pieces back on the car. During the time the car was in storage the black beading between the body and the moulding came away and it needs replacing. I recall folks here discussing that and mentioned a source too. I did a search but I guess I didn't have the correct search word.

Jim,
I bought a complete body seal kit from sunset.
bumpers, rockers, door handles and mirrors.
It was not very expensive and they had everything in stock at that time.
I had also picked up the clips a grommets for the rockers.

Has anyone ever took them out and not replaced them? I just purchased my 968 and one side does not have them anymore. It looks just as good without them and I should not have a problem with wax build up in the rubber cracks. Also my front carbon bumper is getting repaired at the paint shop right now. After taking it off I temporalily reinstalled it to see how it would look with out the rubber strip. It looks fine so I am leaning towards not putting it back in. If I do decide to go with new strips below the headlights does anyone know what I should expect to pay for them?
