10 Bar Sender?
I have the old 931 green face gauges in my car (a '88 924s) except for the oil pressure gauge which is the original 924s gauge. I would like to convert this to the matching green face 931 gauge, but it is a 10 bar instead of a 5 bar. I assume the turbo ran at a higher pressure.
The 968 runs around 4-5 bar correct? Is there any real risk with running a 10 bar gauge on a 5 bar system? This wouldn't jeapordize accuracy as long as I put the 10 bar sender on would it? I would just have to live with the needle sitting in the middle (@ 5bar) correct?
