Feels like owners of older Porsches are being slaughtered

As with older Porsches our cars won't appreciate in value before a good 10-20 years.
By then the population of living examples will have shrunk and most will be owned by well-off people who won't mind paying ridiculous prices from the dealer.
Until then Porsche won't be making any profit by stocking parts for us and they are not going to be price-friendly when they have to have a new batch of parts made from a supplier that hasn't made any since the late 80s.
The logic would imply supporting independant suppliers, but we are still many to source most "little" parts from parted cars, as there are so many around.
As much as I hate to say it, the pricing situation just won't improve unless the population dramatically reduces.
