Selling 968 Project
It looks like I may be selling my 968 Project.
I looked long and hard to find a donor car for a 968 TurboRS Project I was planning.
I bought a black with black leather interior 93 6 speed.
It has the LSD, sport seats both sides and 17 inch wheel option. Currently all stock. The interior is immaculate, with only one small mark on the divers door panel, and the dash is just starting to crack.
Option codes
C02 Cat
XD4 Color Crest Centers
220 LSD
231 Choice of Tires
331 Cassette with speakers (replaced with Alpine Head with CD and Ipod)
383 Sport Seat Left
387 Sport Seat Right
403 17" wheels
454 Cruise
650 Sunroof
I am the 3rd owner, it has full Porsche service history, and had the tranny rebuilt by Porsche due to the pinion issue early in its life.
I have other projects in the works and can't see me getting to this one any time soon. I also have a 2.7 head, a ball bearing Turbo, intercooler etc ready for the Project.
It has 186k miles on the car, but it looks better than many 50k mile cars I have seen.
Asking 9k, without any of the Turbo parts. Email me at samluke@sbcglobal.net if your interested.

Yes, that's the car. I had the drivers side sport seat repaired. Put in an Alpine CD/Ipod head unit. Replaced the door speakers. Replaced the shift boot, new rear hatch seal, fixed the AC. Fluids change and then just drive it. I can't believe how well it runs. Its my wifes daily driver. Looks like we'll be getting a 996 Cab, and I wrecked my track car so have to re-shell that, so something has to go.
Its either sell it, or put it in storage, untill I can get to it.

FR porscheman, I hear you. I really don't want to sell it. Its the perfect donor car for the Project I have always been planning. Right color combination, perfect interior, sport seats, LSD. I have most of the parts for the Project, I could actually start it right away, but I have too many other things ahead of it.
Putting it in storage is one option, but I don't have anywhere to put it.

Bump,
I now have a 996 Cab, and in the middle of re-shelling my race car. It has to go. I have the car, a 2.7 head, most of the Turbo parts, 968 clutch etc. This is a great car, it doesn't need anything. I was also tempted to make it my next racecar, but its too clean.
