Default Stuck in between Toledo and Detroit- anything to do? any need an extra hand this W/E?

Hey all,

Traveled to Monroe Mi yesterday only to have my weekend appointments cancel. So - Is there anything cool going on this weekend near Toledo or Detroit or somewhere fun or interesting to see? I am in the middle. OR does anyone need a hand wrenching this weekend. Do not have any tools but have had a few cars completly dissassembled from parting and restoring- I am more comfortable getting greasy than siping sherry.

Bored - I guess there is always the sports pub... anyone know of one? I drove my truck so weather is not a factor.

Cheers, Mike

I'd find the closest sports bar w/ a wide screen, order a steak & eggs breakfast and catch the first few hours of Sebring. I guess this is a great example of where a Garmin or Nav System comes in handy.

Not everyone here is a Nascar fan, but watching the Bristol race is always fun, if just for the mayhem.

In that case a cold pint with breakfast would be in order.

Thanks- I needed a good laugh!!!!!!!!

I am a gator by proxy- My wife is the gator... I am smart enough to fix almost anything that uses gas. That is what I am in charge of at the house.

Well I could definitely use you to chase down the poor running issues with my car. I think my new stand alone should cure the problem!

BTW - I actually have a BA from UF

You can go to a place called International Park in Toledo. There is several restaurants right on the Maumee River. From there you are close to Tony Paco's if you are a M.A.S.H. fan; this is the place Clinger always talked about.

I lived in Toledo for 4 years (in fact I still have a house for sale there).

Have fun.
