Default suspension noise

I bought and had fitted KWv3 suspension. The mech said that the suspension touches some part of the car that he didn't think it should. Make a right noise at times, but does have very hard bushes. Do any other V3 owners know anything about this?

I don't have any rubbing or interference anywhere; but since I have camber plates and there is no bushing at all at the top of the front strut, I do get a very harsh jolt from the front when hitting sharp bumps. It really sounds worse than it is.
Also, the plastic KW strut cap got chewed up pretty badly from the camber plate. I had to replace that with a billet aluminum piece.

What part of your bodywork does your mechanic say the KW's are touching? That will help us determin the problem and are you running camber plates? If so which ones?

I have never had any problems with the KW's and do not know anybody else having any issues to that effect.

OK, just spoke to my mech. Basicalluy the 968 kw3 is too wide at the top of the suspension and touches the frame. It only just touches and normally wares down in a few miles, and noise disappears. This is from a race mech who uses KW on his race cars. JFI.

What diameter springs are you using? I have put KW's on a car and didnt run into any problems like that.

James.
Im guessing that its the rear shock thats touching.. At the top.??
If so. then YES this does happen , but not on all KW equiped cars.. Mine does this .
It did it on my 944S2 + the same on the 968.. It touches on the spring top collar + contacts the bolt that holds the upper torsion beam bush in place...
Its a pain, but one ive had to live with,,, although i am looking into a "fix"....
