I mentioned to Pete that at one point last year I almost wanted to throw the magazine away right when I opened it because every month there was at least 2 more articles about another early 911 RS replica, lightweight ST something or other. Then after a few month break came the older lightweight 911's with the newer 3.4 engines, and the turbo 3.6 engines! When you think about ti though there are really not that many good project Porsche's out there that are magazine quality and they have to fill the pages.

 

Superb car, good to see there are meticulous, dedicated enthusiasts building these cars. I suppose the same level of attention can be given to a later model, but the scarcity of these beautiful cars make them ideal candidates for quality builds. A rare beast indeed! Congrats!
