UK "Sport" and "Club Sport" models?
A few years back I did a cursory investigation into what would be involved in bringing a UK "Sport" or "Clubsport" 968 into this country. IIRC, it seemed a rather impractical/expensive proposition. There was one person who had imported a beautiful yellow Clubsport (or maybe purchased it from someone else in the US??), but it was designated as a track-only vehicle. (I think I have a scanned copy of the Excellence article about this car if anyone is interested.)
My curiosity about this stems from the fact that there to always seem be a couple of these cars advertised in "911 & Porsche World," the British magazine, and at pretty reasonable prices. It would certainly be a unique model to have here.
I suppose if it were easy or cost-effective, it would have been done already, but thought I would raise the question here in case anybody had any relevant data.
