Porsche (968) mechanic in Wyoming?
I'm looking at a car in Wyoming (yeah I know) that is for sale and I'd like to have a PPI done, but have no idea who could do such a thing. Are there dealers up there? Reputable Porsche mechanics who know 968 cars inside and out?
Please let me know!

Troppo,
I thought about that and I think you're right. I see that you live in Denver. Would you know of a reputable shop in your area or possibly north of Denver that I could ask the seller to take the car to? I'd really appreciate it! It looks like I'll probably be flying to Denver with my wife to meet the seller if everything checks out, and the drive it back to Dallas.
I'm still going back and forth via email with him and I'm very optimistic about the car. It's the right color (for me) inside and out, has service records, has had the pinion bearing fixed and cam gears inspected. Mileage is a little higher than I would have liked, but it's better than a lot of cars I've seen. Only issue is the driver door was repainted by the original owner and the seller says you can tell it isn't a perfect match. Any metallic paint is hard to match. I'm guessing they didn't blend it with the neighboring panels on the car, which I'm thinking could be good because if I really wanted to, I could find a door in the same color from a dismantled 968 that has the original paint -- still wouldn't be a perfect 100% match, but probably closer than I could ever get without a full respray, right?
Another question, what all should I expect the shop to do for the $150 or so that a PPI normally costs? I did a search for "PPI Checklist" but didn't come up with anything.

there are quite a few good shops to use in denver. IIRC, there is also one in fort collins, colorado which would be 35 miles south of wyoming if you do a few searches. PM me if you want specific names in Denver.

The seller suggested the shop in Fort Collins, actually, but he didn't give me the name of the place. Do you know of it? Should I look elsewhere you think?
