IIRC Porsche OEM fills are now 0W40 Mobil 1 and that seems to work for them. I've been using 5W50 Mobil 1 for years and now in all of the cars and trucks - Porsches, MB's, etc. and in all temp ranges. The 5W50 worked well even in -20C in Edmonton this winter in the ML320 and I never have oil pressure issues in 35C+ in the summer in the Porsches.
