Default FS: 968 Timing and Balance Shaft Belt $50

Ordered brand new from Pelican Parts. I have had them sitting for a little while now. Cleaning up the room, liquidating parts. They are brand new, never used, never lubed, etc...just as you would get ordering from Pelican. Paid $76 shipped for the belts.

$50 shipped.

Yes, but I am going out of town tomorrow for a week so if you think you might want them, I can ship them out first thing in the morning.

Thanks for the reply. What brand are the belts and how can I pay you? On another note...you were referenced as a person who has replaced a cylinder head in a 968.... any quick advice...

I'm looking for some advice on replacing my 968’s cylinder head in my garage. I have a refurbished, decked and checked cylinder head that I would like to install on my 968 in my garage/workshop while doing a complete front end reseal/water pump/belt(s) /roller service….I have all the tools/parts for the reseal/belt job including the Anworx kit.

I have done a lot of work on my 968…most recently RMS/flywheel/clutch….but I have never swapped out a cylinder head.

Is this a DIY….or should I leave this one to the pro’s? I need some practical advice/tips. Really appreciate any comments/advice/tips on this...

I received this post from Lord Galva: This is a DIY. Re post this in the 968 forums. Whakiewes knows exactly how to do it.
