Flat rate hrs for flywheel-clutch job

Default Flat rate hrs for flywheel-clutch job

I know labor hrs $ cost vary however can anyone give me idea of how many hrs are flat rate allowed for flywheel and clutch replacement on 1992 968?

I believe the book rate is 5.5 hours

Bruce is probably right about the book rate, but the job shouldn't take more than 4 hours (as I was advised by highly experienced tech at WGI last June).

yeah, i did it the second time in less, and i was on my back doing it - (didn't see the crack in the pressure plate the first time) - it's really a pretty simple job - with a lift i would have been even quicker

having the right tools helps a lot though - swivels, multiple length extensions, and speed wrenches make a big difference, as did the right size torque wrench, and a really long rachet for the crank bolt so i could rotate the flywheel easily
