Where to get Engine block only, and how much?

Where to get Engine block only, and how much?
I need to source a bare engine block and would appreciate suggestion of where to get one, and how much I should pay.
If bare blocks are to hard to come by, perhaps I should look for a short engine?

I have a new block with matched girdle and balance shaft covers. It does not have the piston sqirter nozzles. I paid $1500 USD plus pack and ship. Will sell for the same.
