Default Roof trim coupe

Hello

I wounder if anyone could help with advice on removing the roof trims, its the inch wide trim that goes from the lower A pillar to the rear roof edge, cant see how its held on, can it be removed without breaked?, and what holds it on? and what the best way to remove?

The car is a 968 cs 1994, however a 944 has the same trim as well.

Thanks

Ordy

Ordy,

I have had this off of my car but can not remember exactly how I did it. I know it is held on by clips. I think I slipped a thin piece in under the rubber seal and pushed on them. This contracts them and releases the trim. I am taking mine off again this weekend and can report back then if that will help. Getting my car ready for the body shop. New paint time.

Hi,

I'm interested in knowing how to remove these trim pieces as well. Anyone know for sure?

A putty knife, and just pry. They come off horizontally.
