my (968) transaxle has once again developed a problem down shifting both 5th to 3rd and 4th to 3rd. The first time I had the syncro ring replaced and that fixed the problem for a few months but its back. (this is a race/ tarmac rally car)

At the time we had the box apart, we noticed the engagement teeth on 3rd gear were pretty worn and rounded but didn't replace it due to time and availability constraints.

NZ new part prices are insane so I'm looking for alternatives - maybe good secondhand 3rd gear and 3-4th syncro hub (pn 944 302 903 00 and 01E 311 301).

Anyone with any leads?
