If you have no leaks and it's mechanically perfect...you got a 1 in a 1000 Porsches. I love mine but they've all taken work to get up to snuff. Even when they look good. My 928 look and drove perfect....$8,000 it still does. The 968 had some issues when I bought it but they're about all taken care of now. Now I want another one!

The previous owner is a fanatic re leaks and mantaining the car. The PPI was great, and all records in order. He moved to a 964. Now if this upstate NY winter would just end! See the pic attached.

H20Jazz congratulations, I was watcing this car on the 968 forums and it was a really sweet deal. I also just bought a 968, '92 white/tan with LSD.
You mentioned jazz -- I'm an upright player studying jazz -- get this the bass fits in the 968 which is (one of the reasons) why I bought the car!
If you are in the neighborhood (Northern Cal) we should get together and compare notes on music and cars. . . 8^)
Best of luck with your new baby

Ether, I am a musician too. I'm director of the Empire Jazz orchestra, a professional repertory ens - check us out at:
www.empirejazzorechestra.com
Rufus Reid is currently under commission to write us a new work. He will also play with us in April.
I am also a freelance trombonist in upstate NY - the new car must pass the Manhasset music stand test!!
Really excited about my 968, flying to KY in March to drive it back (keep fingers cross re the NY weather!)
